If I have mentioned this before, forgive me. It is only because it is so good! The first business to start with no money is selling your preloved clothes on Yaga. You can be up and running in less than a weekend. All you have to do is look through your wardrobe and take well-lit pictures of your items. Make sure you snap each item from different angles, this makes it easier for people to make a decision.

Things to Consider When Selling on Yaga

• Yaga offers you 6 image holders for each item. Use all six image holders. Showcase your item in different angles.
• Fill out your bio. Make sure your potential customer knows when you ship and which courier you use.
• DO NOT sell counterfeit clothing, this will get your banned from the platform.
• Be open to chat with your potential customers and answer and questions they have about the item.
• When you use PUDO or ARAMEX, you no longer have to pay any upfront costs to courier. This also means you get 100% of your money from selling.

Why Yaga is Good Place to Start

As a mom, money might be tight, but I am sure you also have outfits that no longer fit your aesthetic. This is a good way to make money from your clutter. You will need to find businesses around you or online that are in need of customer service, and you provide the service. For example, I run a Mom Business Hub membership, we meet online every week. But in between those times there may be issues that members need resolved for them. In this instance if you come on board as my customer care supplier, the members would communicate with you directly.

What You Need for Customer Care Service Business

When you are starting out, with no money. You will need to sign up with a Customer Relationship Management software. Most of these have a free plan up to 2000 subscribers. When you are servicing more than 2000 subscribers, you will have the money for the paid version of your CRM. My favourite one is Omnisend. But there is Get Response and Mailchimp to name a few.

You will also need to know the ins and outs of the businesses you are offering the service to. For example, for my membership, you would need to learn how to trouble shoot for a member who is having difficulty logging in. Or who has an issue with their payment for the month and so on. For a skincare brand, you would maybe need to know the ingredients and have a protocol for products that need to be returned etc. You get the idea.

Start A Membership Business to Startt with No Money

And finally, for today, another business to start with no money is a membership. A membership is taking your knowledge and sharing it with people who want to know more about what you know. Let us use my membership as an example. I help moms create and run online businesses so that they can ultimately enjoy passive income and spend more time with their kids. Therefore, a membership, in this case, works better than an online course.

All you need to start a membership is your knowledge. A social media platform, to help the people who are looking for your knowledge or skill find you. And you will need a platform to host your members. You can start a private Facebook page where you members can chat amongst themselves, and you can host lives on the page weekly. You can also opt to host your live sessions via Zoom of Google meets.
